Black Girl Ventures creates place-based initiatives to provide access to capital for Black women entrepreneurs.

 

Our mission is to use entrepreneurship support and training as a vehicle for poverty alleviation and wealth building. Black women founders are underserved, unbanked and underfunded. It's time to change that! 

We've coupled research with real-world experience to create a new framework for supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our full offerings include triage-based support in addition to social and financial capital, with The BOSS UP! Pitch Competition being the point of entry for many of our members.

Black Girl Ventures is the light at the end of the tunnel. The hands reaching out to let women of color know that they are visible, that we are in formation together and economic independence via entrepreneurship is attainable.
