  • Is my donation tax deductible?
    Yes BGV is a 501(c) and all donations made to us are tax-deductible.
  • Where will BGV use the donations?
    BGV will use this money to accelerate 100,000 marginalized founders and their businesses. We believe in a wold where all ideas have a chance to succeed!
  • Are you accepting applications?
    Applications will be open for the different programs during their open application period. Stay tuned via social for announcements of application open dates.
  • I can’t donate financially, but how else can I support BGV?
    We do accept volunteers for different programs, you can provide non-monetary services or resources for founders (i.e. pro-Bono legal services, etc.). To speak with a member of the team to set this up, email us at contact@blackgirlventures.org
  • How can I receive my donation receipt?
    You will get an email from Donorbox to the email you donated with, but if you have any problems or cannot find it, please contact us at accounting@blackgirlventures.org.
  • My company matches my gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations. Is Black Girl Ventures eligible to receive this type of match?
    Yes, Donorbox does accept company matching, follow the prompts to add your company's information when making your donation.
  • Is it safe and secure for me to donate online to Black Girl Ventures through Donorbox?
    Donorbox is 100% safe to use. They do not store any card or bank data. Credit card info is encrypted, tokenized, and safely stored with Stripe. Donorbox is also secured by SSL/TLS and is PCI compliant.
